In the last century, the developments theoretical, experimental and computational have enabled spectacular and stimulating progress in the field of powder diffraction.

Started in 1991, EPDIC is now the Biennial Conference that brings together scientists and instrumentation companies to brainstorm on the latest trends and challenges in powder diffraction.

The 15th European Powder Diffraction Conference (EPDIC15) will be held in Bari, a coastal town in southern Italy, from 12 to 15 June 2016.

figura4Bari, located in Apulia, one of the most beautiful regions of Italy, is a very beautiful town on the Adriatic Sea coast, well known as a port and university city. The beauties of the places, the fine weather, and the genuine hospitality of the people as well as the delicious gastronomic specialities make Bari the ideal location to host the EPDIC Conference.

In agreement with the traditional character of this Conference, EPDIC15 will provide an attractive scientific program covering a wide range of hot topics interesting for powder community. It will be a lively occasion to gather the information of recent progress, share it with others and spread knowledge.

It is our great pleasure to invite all of you to join us at EPDIC15 and enjoy both a great Conference and a pleasant and successful stay.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Bari!

Warmest regards,

Prof. Paolo Scardi (University of Trento, Italy)
