SILS Best PhD Thesis Award \u2018Carlo Lamberti\u2019<\/strong>
Nominee must be SILS Member for the year 2023 and have obtained the Ph.D. degree in one of the last two doctoral cycles of the Italian PhD system.
The thesis must include substantial work about methods, techniques or applications of synchrotron radiation and\/or other advanced radiation sources.
Nominations are invited across all disciplinary areas. Winners will be awarded during the SILS Conference 2023 by a \u20ac 150,00 prize.
Nominations, including Ph. D. thesis, CV and 1 recommendation letter by the Ph.D. tutor (SILS member), have to be sent before 31\/05\/2023 to the SILS president presidentesils@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SILS Young Scientist Award<\/strong>
Nominee must be SILS member for the year 2023 and have made contribution to synchrotron radiation methods, techniques and applications, preferentially within the Italian community. Nominations are invited across all disciplinary areas. Nominee should be within 7 years of a Ph.D. (or equivalent) degree as of April 30, 2023.
Winners will be awarded during the SILS Conference 2023 by a \u20ac 250,00 prize.
Nominations, including CV and 1 recommendation letter by an SILS member, have to be sent before 31\/05\/2023 to the SILS president presidentesils@gmail.com<\/a>. No self-nominations will be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GRANT<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the occasion of the SILS Conference 2023, to be held in Rome from 30 August to 1 September 2023, the Physical Chemistry Division of the SCI<\/strong> is announcing 2 scholarships<\/strong> for young members under the age of 35 years1<\/sup> in the year 2023 that are SCI members, who intend to present a contribution to the congress.
In addition, we are announcing 6 bursary<\/strong> supports from EuXFEL<\/strong> for participants under the age of 35 years1<\/sup> in the year 2023 who intend to present a contribution to the congress dealing with scientific work carried out at the XFEL facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The scholarships consist of exemption from the payment of the Congress registration fee.
For the award of the scholarships, the Committee, consisting of three members appointed by the Scientific Committee, will evaluate the curriculum vitae of the applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is 30 May 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
