THE BUILDING
“Sapienza” University was founded in 1303 by Pope Boniface VIII and is one of the oldest Universities in the world. It’s a top performer in international university rankings and its 115,000 students can choose from over 250-degree programs (Bachelor, Masters, and PhDs) and 200 specialization courses.
The Sapienza University campus is the largest in Europe – a real city within a city – and it will be especially enjoyable on the dates of the conference, during the academic summer vacations.
The campus is located in the heart of Rome, close to the main Termini train station and next to the National Research Council headquarters. It is served by shuttle trains and buses from international airports. Subway stations are located within walking distance of the campus.
THE ROOM
The symposium will take place at the Department of Chemistry, Sapienza University of Rome, in the Aula “La Ginestra”, a historical hall, recently renewed, equipped with advanced technologies but still conserving the elements that most mark its belonging to the history of the Chemistry Department.
