Depending on the platform required (MS Windows, Linux, Mac) different files are supplied, Jav (Just another viewer) is always included:
– Windows: the program files are distributed as exe file Sir2019SetUp-XX.exe;
– Unix / Linux / Mac: the program files are distributed as gzipped file sir2019-XX.tar.gz;
– for some linux distributions pre-compiled version are available (.rpm, .deb …);
– for Mac systems pre-compiled version is available (.dmg).
Since source files are supplied, the program can be compiled and linked. In order to use the graphical interface some public domain libraries need to be linked (details on libraries are available in README file included in tar file).
If a Fortran 90 compiler is not available, gfortran can be freely downloaded from http://www.gfortran.org/
